PostSubject: Just stopped by to say hi!   Mon Feb 14, 2011 9:00 am

Just joined, and thought I should say hello.

I'm a full-time writer -- it is the ONLY job, no day job here - who publishes under a half a dozen names in both fiction and non-fiction. I write the Jain Lazarus series (which is moving publishers) as Devon, the Merry's Dalliance pirate fantasies as Cerridwen Iris Shea, have a YA horse racing mystery DIXIE DUST RUMORS out under the Jenny Storm name, and, in July, the Annabel Aidan name will launch with my first romantic suspense novel, ASSUMPTION OF RIGHT, for Champagne Books. My plays are produced in NY, London, Edinburgh, and Australia, and I'm included in anthologies such as PERFECTLY PLUM, ARDEUR, SIMPLE PLEASURES OF THE KITCHEN, GHOST STORIES OF THE MOGOLLON RIM, and FULL CIRCLE.

I teach a lot, both in person and virtually. I've taught at the Muse Online for five years? six years? something like that. And I'm over at Savvy Authors teaching something almost every month.

I'm constantly juggling writing projects, but just moved to a great new location, and am very happy with my writing space!

Of course, now I have to buy a lawnmower . . .

Looking forward to meeting you!

Hi Devon,

Great to see you here. I think we're up to six years at the Muse Con and looking at seven in October. I love your workshops, which is why you see me each year. I learn so much.

You must have been close to the city before. We visited NYC before Christmas. Lovely, but I truly could never live there.

Looking forward to seeing you around here.

Cheryl

NY has a lot to offer, but it's no longer a live=able city, in my opinion. It's a theme park with a $150,000/year admission price. Since I'm writing full time and don't have to commute to Broadway, I get to live anywhere I want now, which is great.
